You Belong! SF Surf Therapy Day

Surfing, Mindfulness, Yoga, Community!

Join us to experience the healing power of mother ocean through surf therapy sessions with a community of like-minded women.

The sessions include yoga, surf instruction, community building, mindfulness practices and the opportunity for intentionality and personal growth. Our hope is that you not only learn how to surf but also learn more about yourself and how you make the world more beautiful!

Great care goes into creating experiences that are inclusive and intersectional . All self-identifying women welcome!

*GROUNDSWELL COMMUNITY PROJECT's mission is to let the transformative beauty and power of the ocean heal, empower and unite women.

Natalie is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in San Diego specializing in women issues, trauma recovery, surf therapy, and founder of the non-profit, Groundswell Community Project. She is also a First Aid Arts trainer teaching care takers how to use the arts for trauma and sex trafficking recovery. Natalie finds her own self care in the sea through sailing, surfing, swimming, and all things water. She looks forward to guiding you in your own journey of recovery to your truest self through surfing Mother Ocean's waves.

Dana is somatic therapist with the Center for Mindful Psychotherapy. She specializes in working with women on issues of women's empowerment and in re-integrating their intuition and embodied knowing. Dana also teaches on self-care and mindfulness to Bay Area companies and not-for-profit organizations. As a lifelong swimmer and avid surfer, she's always lived by Isak Dinesen's words, "the cure for anything is salt water: tears, sweat or the sea" and is thrilled to bring her passion for healing and the ocean together for these special surf therapy workshops!
